Tor Fossum currently works as a sustainabilty consultant after many years with the City of Malmö Environmental Department, Environmental Strategy Unit (LUDA Project: Improving the Quality of Life in Large Urban Distressed Areas), and has a background including urban planning and design, community development and energy.

He is a founding member of the European Green Map Hub, part of the worldwide Green Map organisation. Tor is a frequent international speaker, and is involved with a number of municipal project collaborations for sustainable cities. He is also a keen fan of good reggae music.
